After the reconstruction of the Sanctum Sanctorum in 1986, major works completed are the construction of a beautiful and expansive Temple Tank, Agrasala and the !st stage of the temple Gopuram.

In line with the Swarna Prasna revelation held in the temple on 14th February, 2005, the renovation of the MahaGanapati Sreekovil, Navagraha Prathishta,Dhwaja Prathishta and Naveekarana Kalasam have been performed during Feb- March 2007. Other renovation works which have to be completed with equal importance are the renovation of the Chuttambalam, construction of Seevelippura, and Bhojana sala.

The reconstruction of the Sreekovil of MahaGanapati and the installation of Navagrahas is in progress. Other renovation works which have to be completed with equal importance are the reconstruction of the Namaskara Mandapam and providing it with copper sheet roofing, the renovation of the Chuttambalam, construction of Seevelippura and the compound wall.

Bhoomi Samarpana Paddhathi ( Offering of land to the Lord scheme ):

The temple is still in need of adequate land for the completion of the renovation work and expansion of its various activities. To facilitiate this, teh Ksethra Samithi ( temple Committe) has formulated a noval scheme viz 'Bhoomi Samarpana Paddhathi' ( Offering of land to the Lord ) under which 102 cents of land hs already been offered to the Lord by 102 devotees ( by financing purchase of the same) . The temple is still in need of around another 200 cents of land for the acquisition of which the participation benevolent devotees are solicited.
